Fitbit

I'm really excited to get a Fitbit HR Charge. I've been wanting one for awhile. I've had other HR monitors in the past, but due to my larger chest, the monitor never really stayed where it was supposed to, or I couldn't get it to stay there. However, when it did work, I loved having the data.

Anyone have advice on how they make their Fitbit work for them? Do you chart it? Do you must ignore it? Thanks!

    Meghan,

I have the Fitbit Charge HR. Upon getting your Fitbit, you should have or should register your device at www.fitbit.com. At their site, your device will sync with your Charge HR and will keep all the data on Fitbit's server/data base. You can look at your daily progress, weekly, or monthly progress. You can log your food and exercise and it even logs your sleep.

I am new to MFP. I have seen where people link their Fitbits with their MFPs. I wouldn't know how to do that yet.

I LOVE my Fitibit Charge HR! I am hoping to get accustomed to MFP. So far I really like it!

    I hope this helps!

    Barbara :)

Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit and enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Trust your Fitbit for several weeks, then reevaluate your progress.

You can learn more (and find friends) in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users
