To log or not to log?

I have my daily activity level set at lightly active because I do quite a lot of walking (5/6 miles per day) through my daily activities. However, today I did quite a lot of heavy lifting and hard work while working on the garden and new house and I was wondering whether it was worth logging or not, especially as it wasn't really planned or set aside for 'exercise', but I feel quite hungry so would it be a good idea to just eat a little bit more?

If your gardening involved a lot of work - yanking weeds, hauling dirt, etc - I would absolutely log it. Keep in mind that MFP tends to overestimate calories burned so you should only eat back a portion (say 50%) of what it gives you.

I would log it. You deserve the credit, even if you don't eat those calories back.0
