When I started this 6 months ago, I was 225 pounds. I knew I had to lose weight so I just guessed and set my goal to 170 pounds. I'm a 57 year old male, 5 ft. 9 in.

I just found a weight calculator on line and it says i should weigh between 123 and 169 pounds.

DAMMIT!!!

I thought I was half way to my goal!!!

I just set my goal to 150 pounds, so now I'm only a little over a third the way there.

But that's ok, I'm having fun doing this...:)

When I first started I was 254 pounds and I thought, "I'd be happy to just get to 170 pounds". Then I thought let's do 160. ....no let's go for 140. Then why not try and get back to my college days and go for 130 pounds...Nope I want to say I'm less than 130 so my goal is now 129 pounds. AND there you have it.... only 94 pounds to go. :)

Hmmm .....125 sounds like a good round number. :)

When I started I set mine to the top of the healthy BMI for me. But now, being about 15 lbs away from that, I've lowered it to be further into the healthy. I really didn't have a good idea of what I could accomplish. I do now though.

    Goals are constantly evolving. :)
