All of these have my height, weight, age, time, type of exercise and I don't get it?? Anyone have any idea what is the most accurate counter?

Heart rate monitor.0

I use a heart rate monitor, and you will get the "they over exaggerate" line, but with all the different sites,(some 10 years old or more) you get different numbers their to, and of coarse everyone thinks theirs is the best. I go by what my HRM says it is. Nothing will be %100 accurate.0

Yeah I was hoping for it to be a little accurate or consistent.
Where do you get those?0 -
I have a polar watch I ordered off amazon it monitors cal and HR and it was very accurate.0

C-Net reviewed some and it was the base reference for this report

Polar links with most cardio equipment to control level/incline/resistance by your selected heart rate. You can just get the H7 sensor at amazon for about $50 works with most phones with the polar beat app.

That study looked at accuracy of HR tracking ... not caloric estimates.0 -
Personally I don't even worry about how many calories I've burned during exercise. I simply weigh and log all my food and make a good daily effort to stay within my calories and *try* to meet my macros. I do have a polar I wear occasionally just to see what I burn, but I really have no way of knowing if it's truly accurate or not.0

None of them "count" - they all guess.
Pick the smallest number and cut it in half. Track your progress for a few weeks, and adjust accordingly.
Alternately, for the treadmill...assuming you're not holding on to anything, and running the whole time, put your treadmill at a 2% incline, and get the distance when you've finished. Then it'll be roughly:
distance in miles * body weight in pounds * 0.6 = net calories burned
If you're walking, use 0.3 instead of 0.60
