Weight gain!

So disappointed with myself... Not only did I not loose any weight in the last 2-3 weeks, but I've managed to gain a pound and a half!!!!!
This is where I just want to give up and say the heck with it!!!!!!!

    1 1/2 lbs could literally be anything within the realms of normal fluctuations. Most commonly it's cause by periods, ovulation, sodium, carbs, increased or new exercise... even sunburn can cause water retention. All of these things are temporary though.

    Consider where you might be if you give up. You won't be at your goal, that's for sure.

    You are right, a pound and a half could be any of those things, I am just disappointed because 3 weeks have gone by and I haven't lost any weight...
    I am just stressed because I have something very important coming up in 3 weeks, and I was really hoping to loose a certain amount of weight...

    That is definitely one of the worst feelings when you think you have done everything right and are working so hard :s. The good news is, if it is water weight it will disappear in a day or two. Just stick with it. My final 8 pounds took as long as the first 22.... Sometimes as slow as a half pound every two or three weeks.... And other times there would be weeks of no loss and then the scale would magically drop a couple pounds in a day >:) Curses on the evil scale
