Hi everyone,

Wondering what your opinion was on workout time for losing weight. Longer sessions at moderate intensity or shorter time with high intensity?

It doesn't matter, because weight loss comes from a caloric deficit.

This. Do what you want....or do what will be sustainable and fun.

Yeah. You could throw in a few torturous things once in awhile I guess. If you're that sort of person.

I'd say whatever you have time to do. I personally don't have hours at a time to work out at moderate intensity. I workout 30 minutes 6 days a week because that's what I can fit in. I try to maximize CO by working out at the highest intensity I can manage. I burn about ~300 calories (running ~3.5 miles in 30 minutes).

I also try to stay as active as I can throughout the day - walking around as much as I can and limiting sitting around doing nothing. I do think that helps a lot!
