Hello zip friends. I had a zip before and LOVED it. After a year of daily use, one airport pat down, a replaced case, and one washing machine incident, I couldn't get the connection to the battery to work consistently. I decided to retire it and wait for a better device, given the apple watch coming out and expecting new and less expensive wearables soon. I found I could not wait. I also did not want to pay for a bunch of stuff I did not need or wear something on my arm. Using the heart app on the iPhone kinda worked but was inaccurate since I do not always carry it. So a new fitbit for me in the same exact magenta color...

I love my FitBit zip! I also have the Magenta one. I just can't see spending the amount of money on some of the other items out there when in reality I only care about the steps I take in a day. I don't need to monitor how many calories I burn when I sleep or anything like that. Those calories don't mean much to me. Hope you enjoy your NEW fitbit.0

I just knew I'd forget to wear one of the clippy Fitbits—or put it through the wash. So I got a Flex.
@dj0729 If it happens again, put your Zip in a bowl of uncooked rice.0
