Getting to know me

hello everyone! My names Hannah, im 19 and I'm from small town Illinois. I will be a junior this coming fall at the university of Illinois. I found this ap through a friend of mine using it. I hope with a great support system I can finally achieve my weight loss and fitness goals.

I've always struggled with my weight, but after high school it got worse. I gained that freshman 15 and then some. I also suffer from asthma, a breathing disorder. It makes things like cardio very difficult. I currently weight almost 200 lbs. I'm definitely not happy in my own skin. I want to be able to wear cute clothes and go to the pool without feeling self conscious and do things that all of my other friends would want to do. I really feel like my size blocks me from living life the way I want to.

By the end of my journey I hope to see a light. This light would be stepping on the scale and weighing under 140. I'm short, so I feel that would be the healthiest. Ultimately I would like to be 120 and toned. This is because I eventually want to participate in a spartan race. Or some sort of triathlon. It would be a huge barrier to break to get to that point and i believe this ap is only the beginning.

Hi Hannah. I'm 27, 5'2 and about 205 pounds. I know what you mean about wanting to do things your friends do, but don't feel comfortable doing it. I always want to be about 125 and toned, but realize that it will take time. This app is the best way to keep yourself accountable. Track everything that you put in your body, and make sure you get a food scale. Estimating what you're putting into your body still allows for a huge calorie difference. A food scale is your best bet. Good luck, feel free to add me if you choose.
