Shoulder "Injury"

Hey guys! I wanted to pick your brains a bit, here.
So I've completed just over half of JM's Body Revolution and unfortunately have found myself with somewhat of a shoulder injury. I can remember pushing myself too hard at one point, trying to keep up, and sort of moving my shoulder the wrong way. Stupidly, I kept doing my workouts for the next few days until I realized I had better stop so my shoulder has a chance to heal!
I am experiencing some light popping and grinding in my shoulder when moving it or carrying anything somewhat heavy. I am a cashier, so I use my arms a lot and have to do occasional lifting and moving of heavy things.
Unfortunately I am unable to go to the doctor, so that's not an option for me.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to heal up this shoulder injury? Are there any helpful supplements I could take? I'm not currently taking any kind of supplement but I do try to eat plenty of protein. My shoulder doesn't normally hurt when I keep it still, and the pain overall never rises above a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1-10, but if I were to try to do a push up right now I know I would certainly regret it!
Also, wow should I continue exercising? Just cardio?
Thanks guys!

Never trust a pirate with medical advice. I learned this the hard way.0

Hahaha. Trusting the internet with medical advice is risky enough, so obviously I like to live life on the edge0

Just rest it. Stop trying to do push ups or lifting with it. Leave it alone and it'll be better in a few weeks.0
