Elliptical bike

I have been pondering around about getting a elliptical bike. I see the two brands, Elliptigo or StreetStrider. Has anyone experienced either one of these? Should I invest in a 3 speed or 8 speed? Moving handlebars or stationary? Is it worth the money?

I'm test riding an Elliptigo tomorrow. Everything I've been reading has led to better reviews of the Elliptigo, and I like the idea of two wheels over three.0
