How quite a strange evening on Saturday night. I went to a wedding with my wife. It was her friends, so I knew a few people but not many.

I noticed a strange trend in a number of the women at the party. There was a buffet meal type thing, each time I went to get food, I heard a women commenting that the food on their plate wasn't just for them but for friend or a husband.
At least 2 women made this comment to me when they were in front of me. But I heard it quite a bit when the food was out.

Now I'm hoping that the comments directed to me weren't because I looked like I was going to kill someone soon if I didn't get a really BIG feed but why should women feel like they have to justify how much food is on their plate to anyone!

Pile you plate up as high as you like, the opinion or view of a total stranger means nothing. It really doesn't matter even if I was some judgemental tosser (I am not btw) what you eat has zero to do with me. Don't feel like you should feel bad because you have decided to enjoy a good feed.

So next time you are out and you think you need to justify your actions to someone who means nothing to you. Don't, just enjoy whatever it is your doing. That person doesn't know you, they don't know what you are doing or anything about you.
