New to this app, does it have a scanner to down load food eaten?

If you have a smart phone, the mobile app has the ability to scan bar codes. Makes it convenient to log food.0

Just for your information, and others who may read this. The barcode scanner uses the barcode number to find the associated food item in the Food Database. The nutritional information of that food item was most likely entered by another MFP user from the information found on the Nutrition Facts label, and that information may be incorrect. For this reason, you should verify that the information is correct, at least for the first time you scan it.
Please see these articles, and many other helpful articles, on the MFP Help pages...

Good luck scanning! I can rarely get it to work.0

It works, but make sure to double-check the info on the label against the result you get. I have to make my own entries about 25% of the time after using the barcode scanner.0
