Good morning! I was just chatting with some MFP friends on Facebook and had to smile at the way we help each other. Not only in weight loss goals, or exercise ideas, or the dreaded "I hit a plateau!!!" LOL

It put this huge cheesy grin on my face!! Yes, like that!!

So tell me.....................What made you smile today???

     :flowerforyou: :smooched:

My 11 year old daughter who is watching Friends for the very first time. She is working her way through Season Two. She woke up this morning and the first thing she did was run into our bedroom and shout "Ross and Rachel are going out!" Bless...

That McDonald's opened at 5am, not 5:30 like I thought, so I was able to get coffee this morning as I strolled into work.

My little black and tan Mini Doxie Teagan who snuggles *under* my thigh on the couch while I read for class in the morning and her big sister (red Mini Doxie), Kenzie, who stays in bed with my hubby (while her head is on my pillow) and who groans out loud if I go into the bedroom to get another piece of clothing

    This made me smile. *giggle*

Waking up my 4 year old at 6:30 to get her ready for school. She always tries to hide her pretty face, and when I finally see it, it's the most wonderful part of my day.

Oh, and those before school, out the door kisses from her... those make me smile too.

And being on MFP. So much positivity! I love it!!

You two are beautiful, but the gorilla (with the "say cheese" grin) in the background of your photo is stealing the picture.

Excellent job! You should sign up for a local 5k run or walk/run (5k is about 3.1 miles). Having a fixed goal with a fixed date is very motivational!

I heard Beastie Boys (Gotta Fight for Your Right to Party) on the radio on my way to the gym. Made me grin and definitely woke me up.

My west highland white terrier, Alfie! He had an operation last Thursday to reattach the ligaments in his hind leg, so he hasn't been upstairs since... but this morning he made his own way up, pushed open my bedroom door and waited for me to lift him up onto his blanket on my bed  I've missed my early morning huggles

I woke up remembering a really nice dream I had last night. I was in a college drinking from a bubbler (water fountain for those of you who aren't familiar w/ the term), and 2 girls that I went to High School stopped me. One girl I had apparently been in a college class with so she saw me all the time, but the other one hadn't seen me in years. All she said was "Diane, you look great. You look more like.....you!" What is my subconscience telling me? I think that I am really liking my new body, and losing 25lbs and 5 inches off my waist has really made me feel (and look) more like how I'd like to see myself.

Mine is still the compliment I got yesterday. We went to hang out with my boyfriend's best friend. I havent seen his friend in like 2-3 weeks. Apparently he noticed my weight loss last time and asked my boyfriend later if it was ok to say something to me about. My boyfriend told him that he should cause it would make my day.

And it did (and even made the day after)!

My MFP friends are fantastic, But my 11 month old has made me smile today. She is getting into everything and when I say "NO" she turns and looks at me and gives me a cute smile and then goes back to doing what I told her not to do!
