1 tablespoon of chia seeds has the same amount of omega 3 as 3 ounces of salmon. They are available in natural grocery stores. I add them to my granola every morning and they can be added to salads, smoothies,or baked goods . They are easily digested in whole seed form. When added to wet items, they absorb the liquid and form a gel after a few minutes. These seeds were used by the Aztecs and Mayans as an important part of their dietl.
