Hi, everyone! My name is Alecia. I'm from Pennsylvania and I am currently a full time student and I work full time at one of the local hospitals as a nurse's aid. I have two boys, ages 6 and 2.

I'm looking to lose 100+ pounds and manage a low sodium diet to control my BP without medication. Any recipes are welcome! I'm not used to tracking my meals and I'm not a fantastic cook, so any help is appreciated!

:)

Hi Alecia! Welcome to MFP. I'm not a great cook either and I too am working on a low-sodium diet. I'd love to get off meds, the BP has been dropping significantly with the weight-loss though.

I'm glad to hear that someone is in the same boat as me! Congratulations on lowering your BP! I hope you can get off the BP meds soon.
