Activity level for Archaeology

Hi,
I am a bit messed up here about the activity level. I feel I am kind of in between to categories. A typical day is getting up at 5:20, getting ready, for 6:20, loading the truck, riding a truck for an hour, an helicopter for 40 min, then digging, trowel only and standing on my knees, carrying the buckets of rather light soil for screening + taking mesurements and notes. Thats lasts for slightly less than 6 hours a day. Then the crazy helicopter and truck rides for a total of 1:40 minutes again.

Would I be lightly or moderatly active? I am kind of moving all the time but not really and it is demanding but not to be sore from it. So, any advices?

Thanks.

Try moderately for three weeks. After that time you can adjust.

That has to be at least moderately active, I think.

I could never figure that out. Some people, it's easy. If you're an office worker or a professional football player in training, it's not difficult to guess, but for so many of us, it's a little harder.

Try the moderate one and see how that goes, you can always tweak it later. :)
