Mangosteen Fruit

I know that there are 63 calories in 100 grams of Mangosteen fruit, which is one of my favorite fruits. But after several Google searches, I can't find anywhere if that is the weight of only the edible flesh, or the weight of the entire fruit before eating. For those who have never had a mangosteen, it has a hard peel, and inside are several large seeds, covered with a delicious white flesh, very much like a lychee which has flesh covering a large seed.

Thanks in advance.

Generally calorie counts are for the edible portion only, and doesn't include peel or inedible seeds (or in the case of meat, bones).

As above, most foods are done by the parts that can be eaten.

Never had mangosteen. I don't think they sell it here.

Thanks, that is what I thought. A mangosteen is a tropical fruit and absolutely delicious. You can often find them in specialty Asian groceries, but a bit pricey though.
