I'm introducing myself

Hi there, 30 year old single father of two here. I'm starting this partially so I can get a better idea of where my calorie intake is coming from (since, y'know, I haven't bothered to keep track up to this point), and partially because a pair of friends are insisting I keep track of what I eat.. and let them see it.

I'm guessing they're going to be irritated? I'm starting a gym membership because I think I'll feel more comfortable eating more if I'm getting more exercise. I also already see I need to drop the coffee energy drinks and soda, though right now it's not.. exactly a problem?
