Quest calorie confusion?!? Halp! I can't maths today!

So, I noticed that my numbers weren't matching up...I have calories leftover where I shouldn't because I don't have so many carbs leftover. And I figured out that it's coming from my Lemon Pie Quest bar. I checked the label, and it matches, but the math just doesn't add up:

Protien = 20
Fat = 5
Carbs = 26

20 x 4 = 80
5 x 9 = 45
26 x 4 = 104
=229

Total calories are 160. How? What am I missing? I know that we can subtract fiber from carbs to get net carbs, but can the company subtract fiber from the total calories? At 17 grams fiber, this is the only thing that makes sense. Do all companies do this?

    They can do that because fiber is undigestible....or passes straight through you....or something like that. :)

    So netcarbwise it adds up perfectly (well, it's 1 calorie off).

    This. They don't count fiber.

    Maybe I've just never noticed that reflected in the total calories because I've not eaten such high fiber foods before? I dunno...but now I have calories leftover and nowhere to put them because I've used up my macros. I'm sure this would mean I have carbs leftover, but I'm reluctant to use them because I feel like I've eaten them already.

    Don't get hung up so much on macros. Seriously. Just use protein and fat as minimum and ignore carbs. It really doesn't matter that much.
