    for weight loss, it doesn't matter.

    for HEALTH and how you FEEL... it's another issue.

    also, as much as i love junk food pastry type breakfast foods (and its all my dad eats and he lives with us)... it doesn't last me long at all - so I can have a 300 calorie donut stick with him, but an hour later will be starving. or i can make my own egg mcmuffin for about the same calorie count, and be good till lunch.

    do i still have the donut stick on occasion? sure, sometimes. but its really not a regular thing, because i know it wont last me.

    Losing weight with reasonable macro goals won't make you healthier? If I recall, even the Twinkie diet improved blood markers, which kinda looks like being healthier.
