Saving calories for cocktails

I know better, but was reminded of a life lesson last night. When you save your calories for cocktails, and drink on an empty stomach, you get really drunk really fast. Then, when you get really drunk really fast, you realize you need to get food in your stomach pronto! But because you're drunk, you make really stupid choices, and just shovel food in your face trying to absorb some of the booze. I know better than this. I won't soon be making that mistake again! A good night out is fun, but I feel lousy this morning.
Another lesson learned is that if you save your calories for alcohol, and get drunk really fast, you may end up singing "I Think I Love You" by David Cassidy.
Be careful out there.

Hahaha. I've been there. Better to eat a little bit beforehand, and alternate drinks with water0

Oh I know this all too well. I try to workout the morning before I drink so I can still eat that day and drink that night.0
