How do I track pedometer counts under cardio?

I'm new to this site and am primarily interested in utilizing the calorie and exercise log. I cannot find how to track my daily steps while using a pedometer. My goal is 10,000 per day. Anyone else doing that and if so how do I track it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

2,000 steps is typically a mile so you could look up walking in the cardio section and just multiply however many miles you walked and see your calories for it. Just remember, it's JUST an estimate.0

:flowerforyou: I consider some of my steps just normal life so I don't count all of them. At the rate of approximately 100 steps per minute ( walk around somewhere and see if that's true for you), I enter some of my steps as minutes of walking at a certain pace...MFP has different walking speeds in the exercise data base.0

I too use a pedometer and try to consistently hit 10K but I don't count them at all because that is the minimum of what you should do I just count the exercise I do because you will double count if you try to count both.0

Thought I was missing a place set specifically for pedometer counting. Thanks for your input.0
