Sinuses

Hi everyone, I've been doing insanity and a couple of days ago after pure cardio I felt like I'd been punched in the nose and had a massive headache. Has anyone had this as a result of exercise? At first I thought it might have been dust related as there was a lot of jumping around followed by plank exercises. I assumed I may have inhaled dust from the carpet while doing push-ups etc. My headache is gone now thankfully but my nose (where cartilage meets the nasal bone) is still feeling bruised and is slightly swollen. Is it ok for me to carry on with insanity or should I wait till it's cleared up? Many thanks :)

I do insanity in my house, (which is dusty and filled with dog hair....sigh) and I have never had that problem. this year's pollen has really been bad.

Thanks for your reply. I did wonder if it could be allergy related. Decided to attempt insanity anyway and see how I get on :)

I recently joined a Tahitian dance class...and by the end of the class when I am really flushed and about to fall out (we take 2 minute breaks for water and stretching about 3 times during the hour so it is not straight through) my nose is running like a water faucet. I dont know what the correlation is, but there is one...when I am really doing heavy cardio my sinuses go nuts. So you are not alone ...Im sure there has to be something that correlates the two.
