Hello all,
three years ago I went from 293 to 223 in about 7 months. I worked out 2 or 3 hours a day and did a lot of other things that added up, push mowing lawns, hiking, etc. I tracked everything that went into my body for that time, as well as every work out. I received my master's degree, got a job, had a break up, and a lot of nasty things happened all at once.
I gained it all back and then some. I was drinking every day to self medicate and was sedentary for a very long time. Things got better though. I'm engaged to a wonderful person and getting married in less than 3 months. My short term goal is to lose 25-30 pounds before my wedding but have a long term goal of losing 100. I'd like to accomplish that in 12 months.
When I previously lost the weight, it was a perfect time in my life. I was just finishing my degree, was hanging out with so many great college friends, going on dates, my life philosophy was seemingly in place. It was just a wonderful time. I'm a little concerned that this time around won't be exactly like the last and I may get discouraged. I'm going to try my best not to, but the concern is there.
I've done it before and I'm pretty sure that if I'm honest with myself, track everything, and get all my work outs in, I will lose weight. That's kind of a given. I just got to keep at it. Thanks for the forum. I'm just saying hello.

Best of luck this go around, my goal was to loose 30 lbs, get in shape and eat healthier, I started May 1st, and im 6 lbs from my goal. You know the formula, you just have to stick with it, and have alot of willpower and self control. Best of luck to you on your journey, and congrats on the wedding.0
