losing inches without losing weight

I want to maintain my current weight, however I would still like to lose a few inches from my hips. Is it possible to continue losing inches without dropping pounds?

Somewhat, yes, but it depends on your bone structure (your hips might just be wide -- mine are, for example) and how much fat is there. It will also take time.

Yes, you can do a recomp but you can't choose where the inches come off.0 -
Yes. For women a recomp is much less dramatic, in general, than for men. Upper limit's about a pound of new muscle a month.0
