How much protein fo we need if always get my 10000 steps...30 min of strength a week

How much protein do I need ...regular 10000 steps and 30 min of strength (min I know)....

    .4 g of protein per lb of lean mass a day is usually the low end of recommendations. :)

    I was talking to a professional body builder on here and asked him how much I should eat to gain or retain muscle. He said a simple formula is 50g more than you weigh. It sounds like a lot, but it seems to be working. I've done some research on my own, and appears that we can only absorb 30g of protein at a time, so no sense in overdosing on meat when you can't use it all. Spread it throughout your day. I use EAS vanilla protein powder.
