OK I know there is another threat but I am fringe to be on point as much as possible so I will ask, fit bit tracks steps like walking around the mall or the treadmill, but it doesn't do waterarobics or Zuma,or yoga am I understanding that right?

You have to log any non-step activities separately. I log them on Fitbit.com. Other people use MFP. It really doesn't matter as long as you don't log it both places.

As @ILiftHeavyAcrylics said, non-step exercise must be logged either in Fitbit (that's what I do) or in MFP—never both. If you want your Fitbit exercise to appear in your newsfeed, post a status update.

Fitbit will count steps you take dancing unless you've made your movements so smooth that you don't bounce at all. Zumba is bouncy, so you'll get steps. You may get a more accurate calorie count by logging it separately though.
