I am a newbie!

Hiya guys.
I am a newbie to MFP. I have just ditched weight watchers as the help I got was non existent, have tried slimming world without success.
In my thinking, i am hoping that by counting actual calorific units that I intake, as opposed to points/syns, that I will be more successful.
I have 100 pounds to lose. I hope to get to know some of you along the way.
