Is MFP more accurate than my bike?

I'm not sure how many calories I'm burning. I'm doing my bike for 30 minutes and the bike says I'm burning around 170 cals but when I put in 30 mins of stationary bike into MFP it says I've burned 216 cals. The bike also said my speed was averaging around 24-25k.

Trust the bike. I know all bikes are different but mine gives me the same number as my heart rate monitor, while MFP gives me almost double the calories.

Biking unfortunately doesn't burn that many calories :( Stationary bikes at least.

Most burns are overestimated, thus the majority of people on here eat back only a portion of the exercise calories. To answer the question, I would go with the bike over MFP.

I wouldn't trust the bike at all.

How far can you run in 30 minutes?
