c25k + MFP Nutrition

Hi,
I've been using MFP for about 4 months successfully losing approx 18kg and i'm 4kg from my target weight. I've not really had much in the way of cravings and/or feeling hungry as I'm also keeping gluten/flour/carb heavy things to a minimum. My target calorie intake is 1500 per day, based on no excercise goals etc as I have a desk job and before c25k I was not very active on a regular basis.
7 weeks ago, I started to do the c25k running programme, which is also going well.
As i've progressed up into the upper weeks of c25k where I'm now running 25mins @ 8km/h (i can't quite believe it myself) I'm finding that i'm getting much more hungry than I was before c25k. Like I could eat an extra meal hungry, now i'm trying to avoid eating what I burn in excercise. However, I'm very conscious of listening to what my body is saying thesedays and it's saying I need fuel. Would it be a better approach to maybe try and eat some of the excercise calories after my workout?
Running hasn't really increased my weightloss rate, but has definitley improved my cardio fitness and I have lost inches, probably trading fat for muscle.
I would appreciate any advice as i'm reasonably new to the whole fitness + dieting world.
Thanks in advance!

Exercise is a funny thing - for some people it can reduce hunger levels for others it can increase it.
I would attribute a fairly arbitrary value to your current sessions but keep the number consistent - say 250 cals - and eat them back if you wish. You could drive yourself bonkers trying to get an accurate number for the actual burn without much discernible practical benefit.0 -
Thanks, my runs are on a treadmill which does give a calories burned of about 270-300 depending on the run, this will be based on an average persons build, so given I'm 6ft6 and 89kg i'm probably burning a bit more. I'm not really looking to do anything to any level of crazy analysis. Just want to make sure i'm roughly doing the right thing
. On a few occassions i've had some cashew nuts/ham/fruit and water after my run and it hasn't stopped weight loss so i'll maybe just continue with that.
