If you use a tracker (fitbit, UP, vivosmart) do you add your exercise or just eat close to your calories? Wondering because the calories go up and down through out the day.

Connect your accounts (via the Apps tab at the top of every page) and enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings.

No need to log any step-based activity—your tracker is logging it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in your tracker (that's what I do) or in MFP.

    Except for water sports:

If you are using a Vivosmart you don't need to log anything, if you are using a HR strap and enter activity mode. The name of the exercise will be weird sometimes, but the calories will sync over just fine.

Thank you. I just actually ordered the HR strap for my Vivosmart. Currently just using treadmill but will be starting with a trainer soon.
