Is it good that I burn 500 calories a day?

Your base metabolism burns a lot more than that and thank goodness because if you were burning zero it would mean you are dead.

What is the real question you are trying to ask here? Are you asking whether burning 500 is a reasonable target for daily activity beyond your base lifestyle? Sure, that's probably reasonable.

What sorts of activity do you engage in?

I'm ok with it. How do you feel about it?

No, frankly I think that means you're in a vegetative state. I work at a desk and watch a lot of TV and I burn around 1600 calories a day.

I assume he means from exercise.

Whats your point OP? Good or bad compared to what or in what context? Its either pretty meaningless or lazy as a statement on its own.

    Yes.

    Maybe.

    But probably.

Are you talking about burning 500 in a single workout?
Where did you get that number from? A lot of the workout calories on MFP are extremely over exaggerated.

Hopefully the OP @KipferFox will rejoin his thread to clarify.
