The motivation to change

I'm bored and tired of being bored and tired.

Lazy, unhappy, overweight, etc.

So today, I'm making some big changes. I need some hobbies, so I'm reaching out to get some information on a masters' swimming club in my area. I'm not going to be intimidated or scared to join something new. I've always wanted to take up yoga, but my excuses ranged from not having enough money to not having enough time to not wanting to drive across the city to do it. But I'll spend that $20 bucks on fast food without flinching. I'll sit on a couch and read Twitter for an hour. It's really lame. Better yet, I'll throw back beers and bags of chips all while complaining my clothes don't fit. Yeah....

Today starts the new me. Time to make some big changes!

Good for you for starting. Lots of ppl wait until they've had a stroke or a heart attack - or a parent or spouse has a stroke or heart attack.

Oh that's for sure. I'm still young but don't take any of that for granted. There is no more waiting around for bad health to creep up on me. Things are changing now.

Way to go!! Give yourself a nice pat on the back, then sign up for a race or something fun you know you want to do in the future, PAY for it, so you can't skip out and get moving!!
