Hi guys, wondering how you guys would log swimming....but not actually "swimming" lol....heres the deal, I play in the pool with my 10 yr old...we have a HUGE pool...and we play ball, we race on laps, we do handstands and I try and throw him out of the water...just all around goofing around? What I have been doing, as to not have it log to many calories ( I hope) is i log 30 mins of "General, swimming, leisurely" I am actually IN the pool for 60 mins, but only log it as 30 because its not a constant "swim".................any tips or suggestions?

Sounds like a good way to estimate it to me.

thanks, just don't want it to say i am burning more than I am, makings tracking things hard, if it says less, that's ok...cuz then im still ok....but if i think i am burning more, then i may eat more, and that's NOT ok...

    Makes sense to me!

There is such a huge difference between hanging out in the pool and working hard. I think you came up with a good way to log it. :)

I would log it as enjoyment and not list any calories just use it for sauces and salad dressing

That's about how I log it, the leisurely swimming and only half the time.
