What is your favorite thing about MFP?
I joined this community 3 months ago and never looked back because every day is a fresh start! Even if I ate bad one day, I have a clean slate the next morning to star over again and be good! And that motivates me to keep going :smile:

Please share your points of view and add me if you fell like it :blush:

    Well I haven't tried the Weight Watchers app, but I hear that MFP is a lot better. It is very easy to use and easy to find your way around.

    When I first started my favorite part was having access to all the food info to make better choices. Along the way I've made some friends here and there and that's made it even better

    I think that the food database is great.... loving the new 'verified foods' option!! Also, I enjoy the MFP community... everyone is in the same boat & it's so nice to speak with understanding people!! :)

    The food datBase is awesome. Previously I used a different app and I could never find any foods in it. Now practically everything I buy/eat is in the mfp database, including all y Trader Joe's stuff!

    I love how much I've learned (like what an actual portion size is and how many calories are in certain foods) as well as the support I get from my MFP friends. I keep my diary open and have lots of friends because it makes me want to do well to get all their kudos!

    I've enjoyed tips on logging foods. I've always been pretty accurate, but there have been helpful hints along the way to help in this effort. Also, having the recent items and "you eat this with x" make for easier pre-logging. It's not uncommon for me to at least have a general log of my entire day's foods before I take one bite in the morning.

    I find the option to add multiple items to your diary in one go excellent. I'm sure there was a time when this wasn't an option and I'd have to go through everyday adding the same items over and over...
    I also love the barcode scanner as it means even when I'm lazy about adding a product I can just scan it and *ping* it's done!
    Lastly, forget the awesome people on here who are supportive and don't just give you the polite 'you don't need to lose weight, you're perfect' reply when you tell them you're going on a diet, and who can get as excited as me about counting calories!
