I started dieting 5/15/15 weighing 202 !! This is the biggest I've ever been and it's so depressing ! I starting not dieting but eating less. Portion control .i work out about an hour a day 3/4 times a week.

Today 7/6/15 I'm at 192 pounds! I've only lost 10 pounds in almost 60 days . I'm retaining a lot of water . I'm trying to go back down to 160 . And it just seems impossible . The number on the scale haven't moved for a while now . I'm ready to give up . The only I get the harder it is to lose weight . Can someone please help me for rapid weight loss results ?

Thank you :/

No. You're already losing at a rate of 1.5 lbs/week which is really good actually. "Rapid weight loss" is never a healthy goal because it's usually done in an unsafe manner and can cause unhealthy results- not to mention that it's rarely sustainable.
You can't expect to lose overnight what your body has been obtaining for years. Don't stress- you're on a good track already.

You cannot lose weight rapidly unless you starve yourself. Starving is bad, so do not do that.

You are doing very well!!! Don't stop. Be patient.

You will lose all the weight. :)

I know it's frustrating, but you are actually doing great! We all want to see that needle move rapidly, but truthfully your rate of weight loss is one that is realistic and will make it easier for you to maintain once you get there.

As I've seen it said many times on this forum you didn't gain your weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight either. Losing slow and steady is the best way. I know it can be frustrating but if you do something drastic to lose faster you will most likely gain most of it back before you're done celebrating. Slow and steady wins the race...or something like that.

1.5 lbs per week is great. Keep it up! Gone are the days when I can lose that much per week. Enjoy!

You are losing at a perfectly good rate, so maybe be more realistic and happy with your progress so far.

You arent exercising massive amounts, not are you employing accurate methods of calorie control, so you dont know when you are at deficit. Considering that you are doing very well.

Rapid weight loss results sounds too desperate.

So you've lost 10lbs in 60 days but you're ready to give up? Why exactly? At this rate you'll reach your goal in approximately 6.5 months. You're losing at a normal rate. Focus on the next pound only rather than the 32 you have left. You can only work on that next pound. They will add up.

You're losing at a healthy rate of loss. You didn't gain it in two months, don't expect to lose it that quickly. Keep doing what you're doing. WTG!!

You don't want rapid weightloss. You want steady consistent weightloss. My solution is to eat healthy nutritious food and only reduce your calorie consumption minimally. It has worked for me over the long term. You are obviously eating too much and you are probably eating too much because you are making poor food choices. There is no need to keep on increasing the amount of exercise you do. You need to fix your diet.

    Ditch the "rapid" mindset.

    You're at over a pound a week.

    You're doing fine.

If you are retaining water, try to drink more water to keep it flushed out of your system. Other than that, you may have just hit a temporary plateau. Doublecheck your portion accuracy. But really, your rate of loss is very good.
