Calculating exercise

I never know what is considered sedentary vs lightly active given the description MFP uses. If I do something like insanity max 30 or T25...basically HIIT 5 days a week but that's mostly the extent of my exercise is that still sedentary or considered lightly active? I burn on average 250-325 in each 30 min workout so it's pretty intense. But it's only 30 min / day.
I've been estimating on the low end, using a heart rate monitor to track calorie burn and then eating back my exercise calories. But I'm also plateauing and wondering if I'm going TOO low.
Thanks!

I list myself as sedentary, and then add any exercising I do ... estimating low on the calories burned, of course.
Then I aim to eat maybe about half of my calories back.
That has worked remarkably well for me.0 -
Same here I would ignore exercise and base it on how you are generally. Eg I have a desk job so I'm sedentary. Then log gym work etc separately and eat back 50% ish.0
