Silly NSV but totally made my day!

So I got out of the shower last week and wrapped the towel around myself to leave the bathroom. I realized that the towel covered all my parts.... there wasn't anything peeking out, the edges overlapped. I thought... hmmm.. this towel must be a bigger towel or worn out and stretched some and I moved on with my day.

Well... I'm happy to say... a week and 6 totally different towels later I realized it's not the towels!!! It's me being smaller!! Small enough that none of my bits are sticking out anymore!!! And these aren't bath "sheets"... they're normal size bath towels. I literally remember days when I was at my heaviest (265) where I would sometimes grab a beach towel after my shower so it would fully cover me.

It just reaffirmed it's the little victories that make all the differece. Something as simple as being able to completely cover up with a regular sized bath towel that completely made my day!

    That's awesome and congrats! such a good feeling to have. I definitely love the NSVs! Especially when the scale isn't always so nice. Keep it up!!! You are obviously doing it right!

    Congrats--sounds like you are losing inches! That's more important than pounds anyway. Are you measuring yourself with a tape measure?

    lol, I'm one of those people that wants to make Extra sure something's real before I get excited, because the disappointment when it's not is worse ;)

    I haven't been measuring, but I'm pretty sure I've started losing inches because of the C25k I've been doing (on week 5) and then I've been doing some ab workouts at home. I probably should measure... would nice to see how much I've lost when I finally reach goal.

    It's NOT silly....for those of us who've been there it's one of those things that makes your heart soar! Congrats and just imagine how many more NSVs are yet to come????? Makes ya all excited doesn't it :love:

    Oh an, can I relate to that! We spend a night in Motel 6 a while back and their little towel covered all of me - I almost cried it made me so happy.

    This made me giggle. I remember when I was pregnant with my kids and the towel had my lady bits showing. My bf would always giggle at me. Such a huge NSV congrats you are doing great!
