What's the best way to build upper body strength when you don't have any? And when I say I don't have any, I mean none, like I can't even do a single push up, so I'm looking for some exercises that will help me build that upper body strength

Bench press, dumbbell overhead press or bench press.0

Try any progressive strength program.
I particularly like the "You are your own gym" program. You don't have to be able to do real push ups to get started with that one. He starts you off with elevated push ups (like against a counter or a chair) which are easier and you build up to it. There's an app for the program, I highly recommend it. It's a paid app (like 2.99 or something), but well worth the money.0
