Strained calf muscle

I've somehow managed to strain my left calf muscle and it is pretty sore when I walk on it. Has anyone got any cardio suggestions for the gym that won't aggrivate it whilst it's repairing? I love my cardio so not doing any would be like death

I feel ya. I have tendonitis in my left foot so I can't run (what made it happen) for another 3 weeks
. What I decided to do was swim. You don't need to use your legs to swim. Also lift weights? If you have short resting periods in between reps that should get your hr up

Could you do cycling? It's usually pretty easy on the joints but can be a great workout too0

I've been told swimming is as bad as running for a strained calf
. I did my arms weights session today but I felt pretty pathetic without my usual cardio warm up and finish
. I'll give cycling a go tomorrow but pretty sure it engages the calf?
