Helping Friends?

Hello all! I have a friend that is really trying to lose weight. She "eats clean" and works out A LOT but she hasn't lost any weight in months. I tried telling her to weigh her food and make sure she's eating the right calories, but she says she doesn't need to. She eats however much of fruits and veggies that she wants. I tried, politely, mentioning that those things still have calories, but she doesn't listen.

Would any of you press the issue or let her live her life? I want to help, I want her to succeed, but I don't want her to resent me.

If she asks I say keep explaining the correct way to go about it- investing in a food scale, entering her stats into scooby, ect. If she doesn't ask then I wouldn't press it anymore. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.

I agree. If I had a dollar for every FB friend who's 'eating clean' and not losing, then complaining and looking for a quick fix, I'd have enough for a (probably halfway decent) bottle of scotch. If they don't want to do anything with the info, they won't.
