Way back in the very beginning. Back when you were first thinking about weight loss.

That I didn't have to cut out any of the foods I love or restrict myself. That all I needed was to moderate my portions of all of my current foods.

That 'diet' foods and 'healthy' foods like fruit flavoured yogurts were what had helped slowly put my weight on over the years.

That not eating enough fat resulted in me feeling hungry and eating more calories over the day.

That I needed a better doctor, lol.

When I actually began losing, I wish I'd known how it would slow down. Also that online math calculators don't apply to everyone, so no point in even looking at them. I kind of wish I'd known how long it would take. Live and learn! :)

The very beginning? That the Air Force was about to raise the weight standards 10# meaning I wasn't overweight at all and I definitely shouldn't lose 25 # in Basic Training.

I wish I'd known how easy it is to log food. I always wanted to log but I always assumed it would take over my life, be incredibly difficult, and mess up my social life. I spent a day logging food in MFP and was so excited that it seemed doable.

I wish I'd known that going way below your calorie goals and refusing myself every food i saw and wanted leads to nasty binges. I still struggle some with this but hopefully can rectify this enough to avoid health problems.

I wish I'd known that people aren't going to look down on you for trying to improve your health/weight. I always assumed people would make fun of me and tell me I couldn't do it. They've been more supportive than I expected. I know this one might sound stupid but there are some very negative people in my life (not all of whom I have the option of cutting out of my life).

Many more I'm probably forgetting so I'll probably post again.
