I spent about 30-40 minutes today walking around the city and a decent pace, i broke a sweat and felt the burn in my legs. Should i log this as cardio for the day?

Thanks

If it's not something you normally do and include in your activity level, you might as well.

I agree with that but personally, I count it as a bonus and don't. I consider it even for the times when I might not be as active as I normally am.

Yep, just log it a leisurous walking and pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Don't eat more than half of the calories

Agree with above. I regularly take long walks and track them with RunKeeper and add them to my exercise log. If it was more like shopping where you were starting and stopping a lot, maybe log half the time to be on the safe side.

Thanks guys, i still have about 1000 calories to eat for the day and it looks like were having pizza for dinner. A slice each is about 300 calories i'll still be under my calories after the pizza.

When you say don't eat more than half of the calories, what do you mean? I'm still eating dinner tonight lol

Burns are usually overestimated and so most eat just half of the exercise calories.
