Daily Macros??

Hey!
I was wondering if anybody had any advice regarding daily macros for building lean muscle mass (with as little amount as fat possible). I DO have 5kg to gain but I am aiming for lean muscle. I have been trying to do the "ideal" for muscle gain at 45% carbs 20% fat and 35% protein. I am quite active in my daily activities and work out at the gym 4 times a week and homework outs other days (recovery cardio etc).
Has anyone any advice regarding this? I find it difficult to stay below 45% carbs without my energy plummeting. I also only really get a chance to eat my biggest meal at night, but have to do my workouts in the morning.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
By the way I am 5'5", 50kg (yes I am thin - but I have made some damned good progress!!) and 24. I do weight training only - cardio once a week max to keep heart healthy. I love me my weights.
