Subway has suspended relationship with Jared, their longtime weight loss spokesman today. Some estimate his net worth to exceed 15 mil from the Subway deal and appearance fees.

Or apply to Jared Foundation as a replacement attorney. Unless the government had solid evidence to actually search Jared's home, it sounds like he was pegged because he was a celebrity.

Honestly it's a terrible story. None of us know him but I imagine he's been an inspiration for a few people. Sounds like it's a guy that ran his foundation as you mentioned. There are some reports about Jareds connections years back pre-weight loss days. Sad thing is that with something awful like this there is immediate guilt by association warranted or not.0

I don't blame Subway for distancing themselves from him, although it seems premature (unless he had a meeting with Subway in which he said that they might find something on his hard drives). It's a terrible allegation and I'm sure they're concerned he could damage their brand.0

I don't particularly blame Subway either. It's tough on their brand to have his name associated with the creepy allegations.
I believe Subway has also said it's "suspended" it's relationship and that Fogle agreed that it was the right thing to do.
(That said, the cynic in me wouldn't be surprised if they also worried about his physical size in the news videos from yesterday.)0 -
Ya, looks like he's gained quite a bit of weight back: http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/07/us/indiana-subway-fogle/0

I can see a temporary separation while the investigation is ongoing. So far there have been no direct accusations against Jared himself and the search of his home and computers makes sense since the head of his foundation HAS been charged. Jared was actively involved in the foundation so it makes sense that there will need to be a investigation into all of his records and personal stuff. Let's not burn him at the stake just yet. If he WAS involved, then burn, baby burn.

Well not sure how it works in the US but in order to obtain a search warrant here there has to be grounds. I was involved in a case once where a company computer was seized but it took months to get that warrant...and here in my home province there was a big child porn case that took 18 months to get warrants....but they were all valid and everyone of those men were charged...
it was FBI so...I have to think they have just cause...I hope not for his family's sake...0
