I'm looking to add on 25 lbs of muscle and try to maintain the body fat percentage I am at. I have a trainer and a gym membership, just looking for someone to stay accountable with.

good luck with that bro …I am not trying to shoot you down but the typical ratio is 1:1 fat to muscle gain ..so if you add 30 pounds 15 will be muslce and 15 will be fat…

maybe you should look into recomposition ..it is a longer process but you should be able to add mass and keep body fat the same…but fair warning, to add 25 pounds of muscle through recomp it will take multiple years…

you could shoot for .5 per week gain (about two pounds a month) and you would be looking at a two year bulk….

    ^Agreed.

    Give this a read:

Also, the guy that posted it, it may be worth sending him a PM. He's also an EMT, lost a fair amount of weight and then bulked to put on muscle.
