Yesterday was a bad day for me...

Warning: excuse the ranting, scroll your eyeballs to the very bottom if you want to cut to the chase.
My dad went on a tangent that really, he got mad bc the garbage man didn't pick up our stuff yesterday even though my mom fixed the issue (my dad is bipolar and manic depressive). Instead of binging like I usually would do to combat stress, I had an anxiety attack and the thing was I had my lunch in front of me the entire time. I now know I've got binging under control and later I went and longboarded with a buddy and bought her McDonald fries (she's trying to gain weight and she wanted endless fries at red robin but we tried and they didn't want to seat us bc of an earlier party). She was so persitant.... But I did not give in. It really shows my will power. But later in the night , @11 or so I forced myself to eat a quest bar bc I was less then half my protein goal. I barely ate anything compared to most days but I turned my energy toward exercise, if only I could do Pilates on YouTube but I just can't bc it's so annoying to keep looking up all the time.

My question: So I want to know is it alright to force yourself to eat even when you arnt hungry (I'm not a bodybuilder).??? I had remaining of 800+ calories so I ate a quest bar. And any ideas on iron rich foods?

Question 2: Raisns, broccoli, dark green leafy veggies, lean red meat. Vitamin C helps with absorption so grill a lean steak, cut it into strips, and eat it on a spinach salad with raisins and mandarin oranges.

Question 1: I do this fairly often. I am addicted to exercise. Last night, I ate fried potatoes ( sauteed in olive oil, left over from dinner) at 9:45 to get myself within 300 calories of what MFP suggested I eat to maintain.

Food intake isn't a zero sum game that resets daily. I wouldn't force down food if I'm not hungry. I'll end up eating back the missed calories/nutrients within a few days.

I wouldn't make a habit of undereating or leaving that many calories left, but a day here or there isn't going to kill you. You can always make up for it in the following days by eating those calories. Some people like to go by a weekly average rather than a daily.

Well,I think it's kinda tricky,I mean, I'm down by like 200 calories sometimes and it's fine with me, I used to eat too little and I'm just getting used to the 2,200 calories my coach told me I should take in
    I'm 5'4 lol 130 lbs and lift heavy 5-6 days a week,with some cardio .
