If you are looking for MFP to calculate the calories burned for you, pick something that is the closest match for intensity. I am not familiar with that particular program, sounds like it would be aerobics related. There should be an entry for that in the database.
If you know the calories burned from a HR monitor or other method, then it doesn't matter what you record it as. Just override whatever the MFP calc gives with your value.
If you don't have HR monitor, I would highly recommend it. I found the MFP calc to be way off and had a hard time losing weight at first.0 -
Direct from their web site ( LA Fitness ).
Thats for a 55 min class, and thats @ Moderate to vigorous - approximately 5 to 8 calories per minutes (aerobic dance, step, moderate cycling, swimming, aqua, tennis, walking briskly)
Adjust up or down depending on your intensity level.
Log it as generic aerobic cardio, create your own entry for it, or break it up into its components
Body Works Plus Abs consists of
- 20 minutes of cardio weightlifting
- 20 minutes of leg lifts using a Pilates fitness circle
- 20 minutes of ab work.
