Shin Sleeve recommendation?

I found out today why people wear protection on their shins for dead lifts. ouch.
Any recommendations? I'd prefer the sleeves to socks or pants so I can minimize laundry :/

I just wear socks, and love my banged up shins.

I wear long pants but still end up bruised and banged up. Not a great look when wearing skirts/dresses. Those sleeves look interesting.

Lol, I thought that's how I'd be. I don't mind bruises but I was bleeding in like 3 places. I'm a bleeder, lol. Not cool.

Great choice. I used those shin skins for a couple years. They are great and held up to the deadlifts just fine. I've already destroyed a pair of deadlift socks in just a couple months in comparison.

But umm, you'll want to wash them anyway. Like any other gym wear they will get grody fast.

And really, how much extra laundry is a pair of socks?

I use soccer socks. They go high enough to protect the shins

McDavid brand about $18/sleeve. I don't mind bleeding but doubt others in the gym appreciate it.

I just use cheap knee high socks. That way I'm not crying when I shred a pair a month.

Thanks for the suggestions. Got these at Kmart today for 3 pairs for $4. I'll get something better if these don't hold up. I may have to double them up, not sure if they'll be thick enough.
