HELP! Looking for support/and to give support on my journey to a better me. When I quit smoking in December I put on 45 pounds, started going through the change in life (that's horrible) and need to lose 90 pounds. I can't be the only one rocking mood swings and night sweats in a big body! LOL

I'm right there with you. The only thing I don't have to do is quit smoking. I will be 45 next month and this peri menopause *kitten* is for the birds. I have hot flashes, terrible mood swings, and erratic periods. On top of all that, I put on weight and I was already overweight. It feels out of control. But I don't want to be out of control any longer. :)

Hey there... 49 this year. Ack. Can't even believe it. I quit smoking a little over a year ago, gained weight in the process. I started working towards a healthier lifestyle mid February but did dig my heals in until late April. Since I have made some commitments to myself I have lost about 22-25 lbs.... It's a slow process, and I haven't made big efforts to try fad stuff, as I don't want to "lose weight" per say, but I want to help my body become more prepared to handle these next chapters of my life.

I'm right there with ya Sista! Add me if you like.
